ONCAT Overview

Established in 2011, the Ontario Council on Articulation and Transfer (ONCAT) was created to enhance academic pathways and reduce barriers for students looking to transfer among Ontario’s public colleges, universities, and Indigenous Institutes. Working with our network of Ontario’s 45 colleges and universities, Indigenous Institutes, students, government, guidance counsellors, as well as other stakeholders provincially and nationally, ONCAT is building a culture and understanding of transfer so that students can pursue a more seamless and affordable postsecondary education.
